Skappa ("we," "our," "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Information we collect

Account information — When you sign up, we collect your email address and profile details through Supabase Authentication.

Usage analytics — We track how you use the platform (pages visited, features used, generation counts) to improve the product. We do not track you across other websites.

AI conversations — Your prompts and generated code are stored to provide the service and enable project history. We do not use your prompts to train AI models.

Payment information — If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are processed by Stripe. We never store your full card number.

2. How we store your data

User data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data.

Hosting is provided by Vercel with data centers in the United States.

File storage uses Supabase Storage with per-user access controls.

3. Third-party services

Supabase — Authentication, database, and file storage.

OpenAI — AI code generation (GPT-4o).

Anthropic — AI code generation (Claude).

Google — AI code generation (Gemini).

Vercel — Hosting and deployment.

Stripe — Payment processing.

These services have their own privacy policies. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function.

4. Your rights

Access — You can view all data associated with your account at any time.

Export — You can export your project code and data.

Deletion — You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.

Correction — You can update your profile information at any time.

5. Cookies

Skappa uses authentication cookies only to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

6. GDPR compliance

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under the GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing. Contact privacy@skappa.io to exercise these rights.
